People generally sleep for eight hours in a soft bed at home. But have you ever wondered how many hours of sleep a tiny bee or a giant elephant get?
There is a wide variety of animals, insects, and underwater life on Earth, and each creature sleeps in an entirely different way and for various lengths of time. This film presents some of the most extreme sleeping habits scientists are trying to get to the bottom of using modern technology. How do animals deal with sleep deprivation? Why do some animals fall unconscious while sleeping? How does it all work?
