Vladimír, Alena, Jára, and Tomáš all suffer from ALS – amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
In this time-lapse documentary, we witness the profound impact of ALS on patients and their loved ones, as their lives are completely upended by the diagnosis. ALS is incurable, and life expectancy after diagnosis is around 2–5 years. Around two hundred patients are diagnosed in the Czech Republic every year. However, they do not lose their will to live and are determined to live their lives to their fullest.
