"This is what Anne Frank would've done, if she'd had a camera instead of a diary." Evert_45 is a content series on YouTube and Instagram developed to educate school children about the Second World War and keep survivors’ stories alive. The series follows Evert, a young Dutch boy, as he vlogs and posts about his life during the war in 1945. Evert’s character is fictional but his story is based on true war stories of ordinary Dutch people. The narrative is historically accurate from numerous interviews with WWII eyewitnesses and veterans. It has been carefully crafted by an ad agency in collaboration with historians, experts, museums, teachers, and vloggers.
