The famous horror classic and predecessor of masterpieces of German expressionism will return to screen with the AFO festival. And right away with the live music accompaniment of the Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra led by the conductor and author of music Robert Israel. The Golem will come alive again, more vivacious and sinister than ever before. Prague, 16th century. Jewish rabbi is told by the stars about his nation being in danger. Therefore he creates a giant man out of clay and with the use of magic, he brings him to life, so he can protect Jewish people against all danger. When the Emperor’s life is saved by the Golem, the rabbi decides to turn him back to ordinary clay because he’s served his purpose. However, before he manages to destroy him, he’s brought back to life by rabbi’s assistant. At the same time, the planets come into a devilish constellation and the Golem starts to spread destruction...
