Olga / Olga

Drones of all sizes have become a popular hobby for many. They are easily available, often quite cheap, and always exciting, as they let us compensate for our lack of wings in a way. Olga is a quite mysterious short film, which – more than anything else – awakens a quiet sense of dread on a background of facts. It is not to be mistaken for a traditional documentary, primarily meant to introduce a certain phenomenon or topic in layman’s terms. Olga is more of a visual poem, one that also happens to contain some information. Drones have become an almost defining pet of the young generation, but they might be yet another step further away from the real world and a life without camera filters.
