Termostat Země / Global Thermostat
|Type||Film eng friendly|
Global Thermostat examines the current methods for coping with the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and its effects on climate. Furthermore, the film puts global warming in a broader social context. The issue of reducing carbon dioxide emissions has been on the global agenda for several years without any major breakthroughs. Global Thermostat brings attention to “negative emissions” – how can society artificially accelerate the removal of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere? Are these propositions feasible? Are they effective? Who funds the research? And most importantly, how to adjust potential solutions to existing social and political practices?
