A gem of pop-culture and a recent film adaptation starring the gods of Norse mythology, Thor, Loki, Hela, and others in the spotlight. This film is a great way to gain insight and awareness of Scandinavian pantheon and mythology. Thor is imprisoned, without his hammer, at the opposite end of the universe and is forced into a race against time to return to Asgard and stop a new, powerful, merciless enemy, Hela, from unleashing Ragnarok – the demise of his home and the end of the Asgardian civilisation. But before all that, Thor needs to survive a deadly gladiator match where he finds himself facing off against his former ally from the Avengers – the Incredible Hulk.
