For five years, Jonáš Gruska has been organizing the mykoLOM festival, which aims to bring together artists, mycologists, enthusiasts and mushroom hunters. The lecture gives a taste of these perspectives for beginners and provides an introduction to the topic. Why are mushrooms so fascinating and yet so little understood? How do we study them scientifically and as amateurs? How can ordinary mushroom hunters get involved in mapping their biodiversity?
