Systems change. Transformation. Deep transition. These phrases are used to describe the need to fundamentally change our way of life, but what does that mean for our day-to-day lives?

From individual to collective thinking, from economies to ecologies, from oppression to equity, we need a mass ontological shift towards an ecological civilisation. The key question for this year – how do we foster and understand relationality and connectedness? Resilience for AFO 60 presents an array of entry points across interconnected systems, with expert panels, films, workshops and experiences that deepen our knowledge, challenge our perceptions, and present ways forward on global and local levels. It promotes spectral thinking around the complex layers of environmental crisis, championing connectedness around uncertainty, investigation, and reframing despair. Could this be part of breaking the spell of extractivism? What are the ways in which we can “be less of me, be more of we”?
