Jan Gogola Jr. is a director, screenwriter and teacher at the Tomas Bata University in Zlín – Faculty of Multimedia Communications – Audiovisual Arts. Previously, he worked as a commissioned editor for Czech Television, head of the Czech Television Brno programme and a teacher at FAMU. His reflective and stylized films are often based on everyday life, which is a source of philosophical exploration: diary, essay, happening, observation, performance, situational portrait.
