Kristina Maria Hofmann

Immersive experiences artist and research expert advisor

Kris has been working in animation since graduating from the Royal College of Art in London in 2010. Since moving to Vienna in 2018, her focus has been on the design of immersive experiences for children and young people. Projects include an award-winning location-based augmented reality story, The Bookworms (a collaboration with the Austrian National Library), and a wide variety of AR experiences and educational tools on topics such as the female menstrual cycle, economic literacy, and light pollution. Alongside her work as an artist, she acts as an expert advisor for the researchers at the Austrian Institute of Technology.
