Milan Hain

Film historian and scholar

Milan Hain serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Theatre and Film Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University in Olomouc. His academic work focuses on the history of American cinema, particularly the era of so-called classical Hollywood. He has published monographs on the American films of Hugo Haas and on the producer David O. Selznick. He is currently working on a project about Miloš Forman, supported by the Czech Science Foundation.
