Sarah Qari

Sarah Qari is an award-winning producer and reporter for the podcast Radiolab at New York Public Radio (WNYC).

She has produced stories on a wide range of scientific topics, from microbiology to astrophysics— with a larger theme of spotlighting unsung heroes of science and those who question established norms. She has also been recognized widely for her journalism on politics and culture— like stories that trace the origins of “Stockholm syndrome” and chronicle the life of a Guantanamo detainee. As a storyteller, she is passionate about translating complex topics for non-expert audiences with honesty and nuance.
