Taťána Rubášová

Czech screenwriter, writer and filmmaker.

She studied screenwriting and dramaturgy at FAMU, worked as an editor at Czech Television and collaborated with the Václav Havel Library on educational projects. She won the Jameson Done in 60 Seconds and My Street Films film competitions. Together with illustrator Jindřich Janíček, she created the trilogy Podivuhodná robotí expedice, Neočekávaný robotí exodus a Strastiplná robotí existence, which has been translated into several languages and won accolades including the White Ravens catalogue and nominations for the Golden Ribbon and the Muriel Award. She is also the author of Klid a úsměv, a candid and insightful reflection on motherhood. Her sequel, Těžké, hezké, will be published this year. She lives in Pilsen, works as a PR at Sutnarka and has a daughter, Zoja.
