Melia Weltzien works as a curator for the film and educational programme at the SILBERSALZ Science & Media Festival. Combining film screenings, installations, live performances, educational programmes, workshops and panel discussions, the festival aims to engage a broad audience, spark curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of science, society, environmental issues and technology. With a background in cultural and visual anthropology, Melia brings an interdisciplinary perspective to her curatorial work, and is keen to make complex scientific topics accessible, enable conversations, and create spaces for critical reflection and exchange.
