Martin Kalenský

A skateboarder and member of the Světadíl collective, which promotes skateboarding in České Budějovice as part of the European Capital of Culture 2028 project.

Martin Kalenský has been skateboarding for over twenty years and, for the past twelve, has been actively involved in promoting skateboarding in České Budějovice through the Světadíl collective. Since 2021, he has been a member of the team preparing and subsequently implementing the České Budějovice – European Capital of Culture 2028 concept, which includes the SKATEHOLDERS project. This initiative focuses on skateboarding as a tool for positive change, with an emphasis on public space, education, and the European dimension.
