Project Lead of DATAS, exploring the influence of digital systems on personal and political sovereignty

Throughout her life she has observed how culture shapes society and contributes to building more equitable structures. After studying Romani Studies, she worked in human rights and environmental organisations, directed the Khamoro and Mladí ladí jazz festivals, and at Utrecht University conducted research on the construction of representations of “the other.” Following several years at the European Cultural Foundation in Amsterdam, she now leads the DATAS project at Goethe-Institut Czech Republic, exploring the influence of digital systems on personal and political sovereignty.
