Vojtěch Ondráček

An academic and journalist who, in his podcast Outsider, explores sports as a reflection of social inequalities and political struggles.

Vojtěch Ondráček worked as a soccer journalist for seven years and studied sociology, media, and philosophy—a fact he has occasionally demonstrated by earning a degree. He currently serves as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Education, where he focuses on the didactics of the social sciences and engages in critical theory of sport. In his podcast Outsider on Deník Alarm, he presents sport as an arena for political struggles and, at the same time, a powerful mirror of prevailing social structures and inequalities.
