Daniel Kortus

Researcher, chemist, science communicator, and creator of the Klimatomluva project

In 2024, Daniel Kortus earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, where he now works as a researcher. He is a co-founder of the educational platform edufix.cz, which helps thousands of students with tutoring and preparation for high school graduation exams and college entrance exams. He translates patents in the field of chemistry and conducts research on improving molecular systems for the storage of hydrogen and carbon dioxide. In 2025, he launched the Klimatomluva project, which had reached over 70,000 followers by February 2026. On social media, he patiently explains scientific facts about the climate and debunks common myths and misinformation. He has also successfully brought the topic to traditional media, where he communicates it from a scientific perspective in a way that is understandable to the general public.
