Jessica Harrop

Jessica Harrop is an Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker who has dedicated her career to an inspiring passion for popularizing science through film.

She leads production development for Sandbox Films, where she is responsible for all key creative decisions and the company’s overall strategy. She is also an executive documentary producer at Sandbox Films. Jessica has produced content for Netflix, Showtime, Discovery, National Geographic and PBS, for example. We can credit her for the Netflix documentary series Follow This, an Emmy-winning James Cameron series Years of Living Dangerously, Bill Nye Saves the World and First in Human. She holds a degree in ecology and evolutionary biology and a Princeton Theater Certificate, where she teaches a film course focusing on climate change communication.
