Stella Ntavara

Stella is a cultural manager who works as the CPH:LAB and INTER:ACTIVE exhibition manager at CPH:DOX Copenhagen International Documentary Festival.

Stella is a cultural manager originally from Greece, based in Copenhagen since 2018, where she works as the CPH:LAB and INTER:ACTIVE exhibition manager at CPH:DOX Copenhagen International Documentary Festival.

Prior to her life in Copenhagen, Stella studied, lived and worked in France and Germany, where she gained a specialized education in Arts & Culture Management. This foundation led her to work for some of Copenhagen’s most important annual cultural events, including the CHART Art Fair and the Copenhagen Photo Festival, where she served as production, guests and experience manager. She has also worked as studio manager for the visual artists duo Hesselholdt & Mejlvang and as International Press Officer for the Thorvaldsens Museum.

This wide span of cultural projects and organisations has allowed her to connect with artists of diverse backgrounds and mediums, contribute to large-scale productions, and facilitate meaningful cultural encounters — particularly in the realm of art in the public space.

Stella’s passion lies in creating experiences through the events she organises that can reach large audiences and impact people’s lives, work and ways of thinking. For her, festivals hold a unique and transformative power in people’s lives.
