Veronika Lišková

Veronika Lišková is a documentary filmmaker and director based in Prague, Czech Republic.

She graduated from the Department of Theory of Culture at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, and from the Screenwriting and Dramaturgy program at FAMU. From 2012 to 2017, she led the Ex Oriente Film training program and the East European Forum pitching platform at the Institute of Documentary Film in Prague. She later joined the DAFilms VOD platform as a programme curator and acquisition manager. Veronika’s feature debut, Daniel’s World, had its international premiere in the Panorama section of the Berlinale. Her second feature film, The Visitors, premiered at the Locarno Film Festival and went on to screen at more than forty festivals worldwide. In 2024, her feature The Year of the Widow premiered at the Warsaw IFF. She is currently in production on her fourth feature, the hybrid film My Other Perfect Me, and also works as a creative producer of original series of original series for TV NOVA/ Oneplay.
