We define talent as an innate level of skill which we can develop to benefit the individual and the planet. Talent management is the pledge of institutions to seek talented individuals for their ranks and create conditions for their further development. Research institutions are not an exception. Besides talented people, we also need diversity to achieve scientific excellence. The synergy of people drawing on a wide spectrum of cultures, perspectives and life experience maximizes innovation and creativity. Can Czech science recognize and keep talent?
