Hana Nováková

Czech film director and ethnozoologist

Hana Nováková holds a Master’s degree in Documentary Filmmaking (FAMU, Prague) and a PhD. in Ethnozoology. She did numerous internships abroad (Dpt Cinèma et audiovisuel, Sorbonne III, FR; National Geographic Archive, USA; Doctoral Field Research, India; etc.). She worked in the Czech TV as a director of ecological magazines Don’t Give Up! and Civic News and for the Czech Academy of Science. At the moments she is completing three feature documentaries, two of them with ecological topics and one with an experimental form about the founder of the Duncan method of dance and physiotherapy.
