Zdenka Sokolíčková

Is a postdoc at the Arctic Centre, University of Groningen in the Netherlands and a researcher at the University of Hradec Králové. In 2019-2021 she was a visiting researcher at the Department of Social Anthropology, University of Oslo, where she conducted ethnographic research in Arctic Longyearbyen under the supervision of Thomas H. Eriksen. She lives in Vysočina, Czech Republic with her husband, polar ecologist Jakub Žárský, with whom she is now expecting their fourth child.
