Maartje Nevejan

Maartje Nevejan is a versatile artist originally from the Netherlands.

As a trained actress, she has appeared in theatre, television and film productions, and has also directed documentary films. She has won multiple awards for her filmmaking work, including an Emmy nomination and an InScience Festival Award. Her latest film, Descent from Above, working with the poetic view of reality that is typical of her work, will be screened at this year’s festival.
