Martina Mašková

Presenter, radio documentary filmmaker, and science populariser Martina Mašková returns with the show Laboratory (Laboratoř), which is broadcast on the Czech Radio Plus. During the festival, Laboratory is live in front of AFO visitors in its classic format – scientists talk with well-known personalities about news from a scientific field.

Starting in Czech Radio (Radio Free Europe) she went on to work at the BBC in Prague and London for seven years. Besides a full time moderating job at Czech Radio she has experience from reporting trips, internships in British, French, and German radio as well as study programs in European institutions and in the USA. She has been focusing on popularizing science as well as making radio documentaries on the subject.
