Martina Spurná

Martina Spurná is a Czech director of documentary and popular science films.

Already during her studies at the SVOSF in Písek, Martina Spurná worked as 1st assistant director with P. Nikolaev, for example, during the filming of his film It’s Gonna Get Worse. In 2010 she graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where she studied documentary film. Since 2011, she has been making popular science films and reports for the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. In 2012, she completed a unique interactive multimedia presentation at FGU CAS.
